Like Lucy, Amber Schwinn, owner of The Other Side of Laughter LLC, wears many hats; as an actress, event producer, public speaker, creative director, and professional Lucy impersonator, Amber has brought laughter and quality to events across the county in a variety of roles for over 10 years.
As a premier performer and one of only two West Coast Desilu Too & Lucille Ball Estate approved Lucy impersonators, Amber’s star-struck fans call her “the real deal” and a “true to life Lucy” as she helps to keep the Lucy legacy alive through live performances, collaborations, and inventive and unique social media content that reaches over 305K viewers daily.
Born and raised in southern California, Amber's career path has seen her take on varied roles; as a performer for over 13 years across Southern California's premier entertainment and thrill venues and Theme Parks, a supervisor who developed and implemented Entertainment Department training programs at Six Flags, and she currently works with Universal Studios as a character trainer and performer. Combining her experience and talent, Amber has served as a model, actress, producer, and director for promotional videos with Besame’ Cosmetics, and was one of the creative masterminds behind the Glamour Days Festival. Amber wrote, directed and produced the Festival's main show, The Cabaret of Classics, and co-hosts the event’s podcast.
Collaborations as Lucy with See's Candies, Unique Vintage, Bésame Cosmetics, TCM, and more have proven Amber to be one of the most incomparable and sought after Lucy performers in the world.
A double major in theatre and psychology, Amber is also developing a career focused on healing childhood trauma through the arts.
In addition to in-person appearances and performances, Amber currently accepts virtual live and pre-recorded bookings to bring the legacy of Lucy to clients across the country, helping them celebrate special occasions at a distance due to current Covid or distance conditions.
